Entrepreneur Work Visa

Entrepreneuer Work Visa are for business owner who want to expand to New Zealand or start a business in New Zealand. Initially approved for 12 months, it allows business to commence. It can then generally be extended to up to three years. You can then apply for a permanent visa.

 

Entrepreneur Resident Visa

The Entrepreneur Resident Visa is for people who have been self-employed in their own company in New Zealand for at least 6 months or have operated a company.

This visa gives you permanent residence status in New Zealand.

 

Active Investor Plus Visa

For the Active Investor Plus Visa an investment between NZ$ 5 Mil. up to NZ$ 15 Mil. is required - depending on the investment class.

After 4 years you can apply for permanent residence status in New Zealand.

Temporary Retirement Visa

A two-year visa for people over the age of 65. Requirements: Existing assets (at least NZ$ 1.25 million) and annual income (at least NZ$ 60,000).

A two-year investment of NZ$0.75 million has to be made in New Zealand.

 


The following categories are currently closed for new applicants:

Entrepreneur & Entrepreneur Plus Category

This is a permanent visa for persons who have successfully established their own business.

 

Investor & Investor Plus Category

Those are permanent visas requiring an investment of NZ$1.5 million (for 4 years) or NZ$ 10 million (for 3 years) respectively.

 

Temporary Retirement Category

This is a visa valid for up to two years for persons older than 65 years. An investment of NZ$ 750,000 is required.
